The death abstract I have for James says that he was married to a Mary C. CASH of Greenlee, Virginia. I have yet to find the marriage record for them, though I suspect it was it was 1853 or 1854. I have a record of a white male child, unnamed that died at the age of 1 day who was born on 14 Feb 1855.
James C CASH and Mary Catherine CASH had five children that I know of that that lived beyond infancy. There is a big gap between PER who was born in 1859 and John Edward CASH who was bornin 1865, but I suspect that was because James was fighting in the civil war.
