Children of George GILLESPIE and Mary MOORE

George GILLESPIE died intestate in 1803 and in the settlement of his estate 12 children are listed, 5 sons and 7 daughters. He had two wives, both named Mary, but given that he married his second wife in 1785, it is believe that his first wife is the mother of all 12 children. I have never found any information that says that his first wife's surname was MOORE, but it is widely believed that since two children have MOORE as their middle name, that it was their mother's maiden name.

5 Apr 1790 George Gillespie on the 1790 B Tax list of Amherst. Listed with 1-0-0-0
George GILLESPIE, age 20, son of George GILLESPIE and Mary MOORE, married Mary FARIS, age 25, son of Charles FARIS and Mary Ann SAUNDERS on 7 Jun 1790 in Amherst, VA. Mary FARIS was George's stepsister. His father George married the elder Mary FARIS on 26 Dec 1785.
I have read in multiple places that George, his brother Lewis, their families and their step mother moved to TN not long after George Seniors death in 1803. But he is on the 1810 census.
In that census there is listed one male 45 and over, which would have been George, although if he was born in 1770, he would have been 40, not older than 45. The oldest female is listed as being between 26 and 44, which barely fits as I have Mary FARIS' birthdate as 13 Oct 1765.
Also, on that census are 2 males between 0 and 9, 2 males between 10 and 15, 3 females between 0 and 9, 1 female between 10 and 15 and 2 females between 16 and 25. I have done minimal research on George Jr's family, so I am not sure how this fits. But I have seen recorded that he had as many as 10 chilrden.
It is also recorded that he had 5 slaves.

Nancy GILLESPIE, age 20, daughter of George GILLESPIE and Mary MOORE, married Ambrose CAMPBELL, age unknown, parents unknown on 2 Jul 1799 in Amherst, VA.
I'm not sure if the Ambrose CAMPBELL is the gentleman born in 1751 in Nelson, VA or some other Ambrose CAMPBELL. If he was born in 1751, he would have been 49 at the time of their marriage and 29 years older than Nancy. It's possible, but it needs to be researched further.
I do not have a recorded date for Nancy's death. Her husband, Ambrose is recorded as having died in 1811 in Nelson, VA.
