WILLIAM BICKNELL was husband of HOWARD CASH's daughter ROSANNA CASH. I have seen their marriage date estimated to be about 1758, possibly because of this deed. It would seem that HOWARD CASH was a generous man with his children. JACOB SMITH is also a direct ancestor of mine.
THOMAS POWELL was the son-in-law of HOWARD CASH, married to his daughter ANN CASH. I am not sure when ANN and THOMAS were married.

HOWARD CASH, my direct descendant, died in Sep 1772 in Amherst. This is from his will: Item. I give to my son, JOEL, one hundred acres land joining the land on which he lives and 2 negroes named Dick, a boy. I give to my grandson, HOWARD, the son of JOEL CASH, after the death of my son, JOEL to him and his heirs forever. I believe that JOEL died in 1773, so the HOWARD CASH listed here and in the remaining deeds is most probably the HOWARD CASH, who is the son of JOEL CASH and TABITHA BARTLETT
